Ranarda turned her entrepreneurial spirit and relentless passion to improve health outcomes into business and personal endeavors. Her company PSyn, Inc. helps employers manage their health and prescription benefits and works with Medicare plan sponsors to improve their Star Ratings. She also parlayed her licensed health insurance expertise to help seniors choose the best Medicare plan for their needs. “It didn’t feel right to know so much about the Medicare industry and not share it with the ones who need it most, the Medicare beneficiaries,” she says. She targets rural South Carolina areas that have minimal resources to get needed personalized assistance. The keys to her success? “It is good old fashioned hard work led by great customer service that leads to better relationships and health outcomes for the members we serve.” It was a long, uphill journey to build her business and her ideas were often met with the word “no.” But she persisted. “I’ve learned that with each no I get a bit tougher, a bit wiser, and that much closer to a yes!”
